What are BRC and IFS certifications?

When we speak of BRC and IFS, we are referring to two fundamental international standards for quality certification.

The BRC stands for Brand Reputation Compliance, and is one of the most widespread food safety certifications, of British origin.

The IFS standard stands for International Food Standard, and is a French and German-based international standard.

What does International Certification mean?

International certifications attest to the quality and safety of food products through the application of mixed systems of quality/product management, hygiene self-control and good manufacturing practices.

They help companies build customer confidence by demonstrating compliance with industry best practices, ensuring that products meet international standards for food safety, quality and business performance throughout the supply chain.
