Our Classic Panettone is in the Italian final for the Panettone World Cup at Sigep in Rimini
For the first time, Sigep in Rimini will be the scene of the Italian final of the Panettone World Cup.
There are 30 master pastry chefs who will compete for the Classic one, having already passed the Italian selections held last year (divided between North-Central and Southern Italy).
there will only be 5 finalists, who will then represent Italy in the world final to be held in Milan in November.
The final will take place at Choco Arena, Sigep. Tuesday 23 January 2024 for the Traditional Panettone category.
We don’t usually participate in competitions, but we still find this one very serious and valid. The jury and the master pastry chefs involved were exceptional.
This makes it a real “refresher course”, beyond the mere competition. The comparison and judgment of so many professionals can only help us improve.
